Richard Ashcroft, Royal Blood and The Streets to headline Sheffield s Tramlines Festival

Limited tickets available Other acts lined up to perform include Nottingham’s Jake Bugg, The Kooks, DMA s, Pale Waves, The Pigeon Detectives, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Everything Everything, Blossoms, Dizzee Rascal, The Fratellis, Sundara Karma and Derbyshire’s own Lucy Spraggan, from Buxton. Representing Sheffield will be bands including The Sherlocks, The Reytons and folk favourites Everly Pregnant Brothers. Tramlines 2018 being rocked by Sheffield favourites The Sherlocks, who return again this year, joining headliners The Streets, Royal Blood and The Verve s Richard Ashcroft. With a large number of ticket buyers for the cancelled 2020 event retaining their tickets, only a limited number of weekend tickets will be available, currently priced at £130, while day tickets are £45.

The Streets, Royal Blood And Richard Ashcroft Announced For Tramlines Tuesday, 27 April 2021 The first acts have been announced for this year s Tramlines in Sheffield. Following its cancellation in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event will return to Hillsborough Park in July. To celebrate the festival s comeback, organisers have revealed the first 40 names for its line up, including headliners The Streets (pictured), Royal Blood and Richard Ashcroft. Tramlines Festival Operations Director, Timm Cleasby said: The pandemic has hit us all very hard in a million different ways but the support that Sheffield has already shown us is incredibly humbling for us all. We re super excited to bring you what I feel is one of our strongest line ups.

It means there will be a very limited number of Weekend tickets will be available. Tramlines Festival Operations Director, Timm Cleasby said,  “The pandemic has hit us all very hard in a million different ways but the support that Sheffield has already shown us is incredibly humbling for us all. We’re super excited to bring you what I feel is one of our strongest line ups. The three main headliners have been on my list for a good while now and we’ve got some brilliant returning friends as well. All this said, we’re very serious about the public’s safety and take our responsibilities regarding COVID very seriously. We’re keeping a close eye on developments and will act accordingly should things change.”
